Goondiwindi businesses are lining up to host events, workshops, webinars and seminars from Monday, as part of Queensland Small Business Week.
Partnered with Vodafone Australia, the statewide event
(15 – 20 May) will celebrate the sector’s $100 billion economic contribution to Queensland and champion the importance of technology, promote a culture of entrepreneurship, and reinforce to small business owners it’s their time to thrive.
Engage and Create Consulting Managing Director Julia Telford is hosting a networking event that celebrates small businesses based in regional Queensland at the Goondiwindi Town Hall Restaurant on Wednesday 17 May.
Ms Telford says the event provides small business owners with an opportunity to learn and acquire new ideas, skills and tools, so they can take their businesses to the next level.
“The event is an opportunity for business owners to get together and promote their products and services in a non-competitive, fun environment.
Small Business Minister Leeanne Enoch says there are more than 414,000 passionate small business operators throughout our state.
“The week will give everyone associated with small business the resources they need so their businesses can thrive.”
