Road Safety Heads Up

With the Tara Festival of Culture and Camel Races set to get underway this coming weekend local Police are urging a bit of common sense and caution on the roads.

Sergeant Greg Finucane says the festival sees many visitors to the Tara area.

“Drivers are reminded to drive according to road conditions, keep a minimum two second gap between yourself and the vehicle in front of you and be aware of vehicles behind you when towing a caravan.”

Visitors are also reminded to lock it or lose it when away from your vehicle. Tara Police will be actively enforcing traffic offences and good order offences during this weekend.
