Are we healthy or unhealthy bunch? That’s the question all Queenslanders are being asked a long with a few more as we all get to have a say in one of the State’s largest healthcare surveys.
All Queenslanders are invited to take part in CheckUP’s state-wide healthcare survey, which is now open.
“Results from the survey will provide an overview of issues experienced by everyday Queenslanders when it comes to their health and healthcare.”
The survey will also gather important information from five groups of health professionals who are on the frontline when it comes to keeping people well – GPs, medical specialists, allied health providers, practice nurses and practice managers.
Ms Liddy says bringing this information together in the Health in Focus report delivers a valuable resource that is then used to inform health service delivery across the state.
“Last year the survey received a record number of responses, and we are keen to hear from even more people this year. We are particularly keen to hear from those in regional and remote areas, so we can gain a greater understanding of what can be done to improve health outcomes in these communities.”
The CheckUP Health in Focus survey is available at www.checkup.org.au/hif and will remain open until Wednesday, 20 December 2017.
Survey findings will be published early next year in CheckUP’s Health in Focus 2017 report. In addition, a customised report will be prepared for each state electorate to ensure Queensland MPs are aware of health issues in their local area.
