Unlawful killing of an animal

11th January Talwood Police attended a property in Toobeah to speak with a 20 year old male of a Bungunya address in relation to the unlawful killing of an animal.

Police report that the incident happened at an address in Toobeah. Police will allege the 20 year old male attended and unlawfully killed animal at the address.

Talwood Police issued the 20 year old male with a Notice to Appear before the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on the 17th February in relation to the matter.

Unlicensed driving

14th January Goondiwindi Police intercepted a vehicle at about 1am on the Cunningham Highway at Goondiwindi.

Police spoke with a 46 year old male of a Victorian address who did not have a drivers licence. The driver was issued a Notice to Appear in relation to unlicensed driving and was issued due to appear in Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on the 17th February.

On the 17th January at about 9am Goondiwindi Police intercepted a vehicle on Marshall Street Goondiwindi. Police spoke with a 50 year old female of a Goondiwindi address in relation to the status of her licence.

The 50 year old female did not have a current licence and was issued a Notice to Appear for unlicensed driving to appear on the 17th February before the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court.

Public urination

16th January at about 1am Police from the Goondiwindi Police Station observed a male urinating in Public on Marshall Street Goondiwindi.

Police spoke with a 24 year old male of a Goondiwindi address who was subsequently issued an infringement notice for Public Urination. About 30 minutes later Police intercepted a vehicle in Wilson Court Goondiwindi where the same 24 year old was driving the vehicle.

The driver failed a Road Side breath test and was transported to the Goondiwindi Police Station. The 24 year old provided a breath analysis of 0.174% and was issued a Notice to Appear for high range drink driving to appear before the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on the 17th February.

Obstructing Police

In the early hours of the 17th January Goondiwindi Police attended an address in Herbert Street in relation to a disturbance. Police spoke with a 25 year old female of the address who had been screaming and causing a disturbance.

While speaking with Police the 25 year old female obstructed them in their duties and was arrested for such. The 25 year old was conveyed to the Goondiwindi Police Station where she was issued a Notice to Appear for obstruct Police to appear before the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on the 17th February in relation to the matter.
