Economic Development Portfolio Councillor David Turner says that while we all know that Goondiwindi is a fantastic place to live and work, convincing others who haven’t lived here can be a challenge.

“A new e-brochure highlighting all that Goondiwindi has to offer has been created by Goondiwindi Regional Council, and is available for local businesses to use as part of their marketing to potential employees.

The resource can be found on Council’s website at http://www.grc.qld.gov.au/work-live-and-love-gundy-life

Councillor Turner says the new resource highlights all that Goondiwindi has to offer and aims to draw workers to the region.

“The e-brochure highlights the fantastic community environment, the lack of traffic, the retail and food options, the medical services, as well as low unemployment rates and the great schools we have here.”

He says it is a fantastic resource for business looking to recruit outside the region can now put to work.

“This resource covers all the important factors that families may consider when relocating for a new job.”

“There is so much on offer in Goondiwindi and it is exciting that our businesses, especially our smaller businesses that don’t have the resources to create this information themselves, are able to positively promote the region as part of their recruitment processes.”
