Charity Concert Comes Together

Hundreds of locals are expected to turn out this Sunday for a huge charity concert at the Goondiwindi Water Park as the regions’ community moves to help raise funds for local, Jan Jan Charles and the Pink Family in the wake of last week’s horrific accident near Bogabilla.

Tcharity concerthe free benefit concert, known as Benefit on the Border will commence at 12 and run until 4 pm and will see donation buckets passed throughout the crowd.

All funds raised going towards the recovery of Jan Jan Charles and to the Pink Family, who, this week laid to rest the three children they lost in the accident.

Goondiwindi Chamber of Commerce are organizing the event and executive officer Brooke Saxby says local talent will be the feature and include performances from The Voice grand finalist Ellen Reed.

Further support has been organized for the Pink Family with a huge event planned for Logan city in a weeks’ time.

Entertainment Extravaganza – Pink Family Charity Concert has been organized for June 18th, to coincide with what would have been Destiny Pinks’ 16th birthday.

That event will be staged at the Village Green, Logan Village from 11am until 3pm and will be a gold coin entry.
